PERSONAL Mr lan Cowan, Norwich quay, has received advice from the Christchurch Technical College that he has .been awarded Messrs Moore and Wright s special prize for engineering. Schools and Trades Picnic The Mayor (Mr F. E. Sutton) has requested citizens to observe Wednesday next as a whole holiday on the occasion of the annual schools ana trades picnic to the Riccarton racecourse. Valuation List The valuation list for the Borough of Lyttelton is now open for inspection at the council office. Objection must be lodged on or before February 23.
