INSPECTION OF HEATHCOTE COUNTY

Mr Hector Jarden states that he did not wait on the Heathcote Council when it received a deputation during its tour of inspection on Thursday. Mr Jarden also states that he lives within a chain of the lead-smelting works complained of, and so far has not suffered any ill-effects, nor has he noticed any danger during the years this industry has been carried on. The spokesman of the deputation was Mr L. A. Jarden.
