YOUNG MAN SENTENCED FOR CAR CONVERSION (PRESS ASSOCIATES TELEGRAM.) WELLINGTON. February 4. Gordon Alexander Anderson, aged 21, a labourer, stated to have served terms in the Borstal Institution for theft and car conversion, and to have been released only on January 8. was sentenced to three months’ imprisonment with hard labour this nmrnlng. after a pursuit by a constable in a taxi, for converting a car last evening. The taxi-driver forced the accused to a kerb in Newtown, after a pursuit from the city. _____
