PRISONERS SENTENCED AT HAMILTON
(press association telegram.) HAMILTON. February 4 His Honour Mr Justice Johnson presided at a sitting of the Supreme Court to-day. Claude Anzac Moon, aged 21. a farm hand, was ordered to come up for sentence within three months if called on for making a false declaration under the Marriage Act. Harry Leo Biggar, aged 33, a drover, was sentenced to nine months’ imprisonment on two counts of wool stealin**. Whare Matangi Hiki. aged 51. hj farmer, was sentenced to IS montm imprisonment on two charges of horse stealing. Stephen James Morrighan. aged 31 a farm labourer, was sentenced to 12 months’ imprisonment for forgery and uttering.
