CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION
CANTERBURY REPRESENTATION Arrangements for a Canterbury exhibit at the New Zealand Centennial Exhibition are to be discussed at a meeting at the Christchurch City Council Chambers on February 18, according to information received at a meeting of the council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce last night. The Town Clerk (Mr J. S. Neville) advised that Messrs J. T. Martin and C. Todd, directors of the exhibition, would meet the Mayor (Mr J. W. Beanland) on this date, and the participation of the Chamber of Commerce in the discussion would be welcomed. The council appointed the president (Mr W. S. Mac Gibbon) and the honorary treasurer (Mr P. L. Porter) to represent it at the meeting.
