DATE OF DEPARTURE OF KANGAROOS ENGLISH OFFICIALS DISMAYED (UNITED I'KESS ASSOCIATION—COI'I'HIOU'I.) (Received January 18, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, January 17. The "Daily Telegraph” states that the Australian League Control Board's decision that the Kangaroos must leave for Australia on February 4 has dismayed English official Rugby League circles, as provisional arrangements had been approved by the English tour committee for a match between Australia and Wales at Pontypridd on that day. Officials were also hoping to entertain ■ the Kangaroos at a farewell dinner.
