♦ TROPHIES PRESENTED TO AMATEURS SOCIAL AT WINTER GARDEN Trophies won by provincial amateur wrestlers were presented last evening at a social gathering given in their honour by the Canterbury Wrestling Association at the Winter Garden. Mr P. R. Climie, president, congratulated the successful competitors and extended the association's best wishes to j F. Genet, a member of the New Zealand team for the Empire Games, and to Mr A. P.
