HIGHER REVENUE
HARBOUR RECEIPTS FOR NOVEMBER MEETING OF BOARD An increase of £1366 18s 6d in the revenue for November as compared with the revenue for the same month last year was reported to the Lyttelton Harbour Board yesterday. The sums paid into the harbour fund last month totalled £9666 9s 9d, made up as follows:
The total tonnage handled was 60,800, compared with 40.415 in November, 1936. The chairman (Mr R. T. McMillan) was empowered to make a grant of up to £IOO to the Far East Appeal Fund.
