COURSE RECORD FOR THREE MILES A. R. GEDDES ON DUNEDIN GROUND (PBES9 4SSOCIATIOH TXMBGBAM.) DUNEDIN, December 6. In 'a heavy atmosphere, and on a track extremely rough after a week of Wirth's circus, A. K. Geddes established a course record for three miles on the Caledonian ground this evening, his time being 14min 48sec. Geddes was not assisted by a weak field. Another outstanding event at the Otago Centre's evening meeting was the one mile, in which T. Allen defeated W. A. C. Pullar by 10 yards in 4min 20 3-ssec, fast time on such uneven and dead track.
