ANNUAL MEETING HELD

OUST SUB-CENTRE OF RED CROSS SOCIETY The Cust sub-centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society held its annual meeting in the Oddfellows’ Hall. There was a fair attendance. Mrs H. Tallott presided. The secretary presented the report and balance-sheet, which were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mrs H. Tallott; secretary, Mrs C. Briggs. Sister Stringer (Christchurch) gave an interesting address on work of the junior Red Cross. Items were given by Jean Lindsay and Dezma Wood (piano duet), and Peggy Briggs (piano solo).
