THREE-BOWL PAIRS

A three-bowl pairs tournament was played over the week-end on the Canterbury green. Fifty-two players occupied 13 rinks.

Laver and Christie (Cashmere) and Paul and Turpin (Canterbury) each won four games. In the play-off of eight heads Christie won.

There was a strong easterly wind which made play difficult.
