D. Scotchner has joined the Kowhai at Sydney as second officer, relieving Mr G. M. Coote, who is on holidays. Mr K. A. Seaman has joined the Rangatira as third officer. Mr G. C. Dawson has been appointed third officer of the Waipiata. Captain F. M. Smith is still in command of the Shaw, Savill steamer Maimoa. Captain J. W. Johnson retains command of the Shaw, Savill motor-ship Waipawa.
