ARTS AND CRAFTS EXHIBITION

MALVERN GKOLT OF WOMEN'S INSTITUTES i Tile annual arts and crafts exhibition of the Malvern group of Women's Institutes was held in the Springfield Hall. There were many members and visitors present. Mrs P. A. Turner (group convener) introduced Mr C. | Morgan Williams. M.P., who officially i opened the exhibition and congratulated the exhibitors on the excellent display of work*, particularly the tapestry section. I Mrs Ross McDonald also complimented the members on the high standard !of work in all classes. I Other speakers were Mrs Duncan, i representing the Springfield Women's Division of the Farmers' Union, and Mrs Flynn, vice-president, Springfield Women's Institute. There was a record number of entries in all classes, and the Glentunnel Institute was the winner of the silver cup Much of the credit of the exhibition is due to Mrs P. A.
