OVER THE LEWIS PASS
In pouring rain on Saturday afternoon, a truck carrying three horses was taken over the Lewis Pass road by Mr E. H. Moore, of Kaiapoi—the first heavy load to be taken thrcugh to the West Coast by this route since th« road was opened recently.
