+ BRITISH CHIEF-OF-STAFF TO ATTEND (BRITISH OFFICIAL WIUELEsS.) RUGBY. September 11. Sir Cyril Devercll. Chief of the Imperial General Staff, will attend the combined manoeuvres of the German army, navy, and air forces. He will leave for Germany next week, and it will be the first time since the war that a Chief of Staff has attended the German manoeuvres. When General von Blomberg, Commander-in-Chief of the German forces, visited England for the Coronation he invited Field-Marshal Sir Cyril Devercll and other British officers, including Genera] Sir Edmund Ironside and Air Marshal Sir Arthur Longmore, to attend the manoeuvres, which will begin on September 20. These other officers will accompany Field-Marshal Sir Cyril Devereli on the visit.
