FIGURES FOR ELEVEN MONTHS HEAVIER NORTH ISLAND SUPPLY Figures supplied by the Meat Producers' Board of export killings at all New Zealand works for the 11 months from October 1, 1936, to August 31, 1937, show that in spi'e of a decrease of lamb killings in the South Island the total for the Dominion has risen by 394,541 carcases. Chilled beef has shown an increase of 47,486 quarters, and frozen beef has also increased. Wether mutton is down on last year, but more ewes have been killed. The figures are as follows: —
