LYTTELTON LICENSING COMMITTEE

RENEWALS AND TRANSFERS

The quarterly meeting of the Lyttelton Licensing Committee was held at Lyttelton yesterday. There were present Messrs F. F. Reid. S.M. (chairman), F. Davis. W. T. Lester, D. McRae. R. Orton Bradley, and W. Wales. The following renewals of licences were granted:—Grand Hotel, Akaroa, (A. L. Kotlowski); Lyttelton Hotel (Nina Armitage). An application for a renewal of the licence for the Albion Hotel, Lyttelton (Ellen Dempsey Quested) was further adjourned for three months pending alterations and improvements to the building. Transfers of licences were granted as follows:—Grand Hotel, from A. L. Kotlowski to N. H. Shaw; Madetra Hotel, Akaroa, from H. W. H. Piper to W. E. Swainson; Lyttelton Hotel, from Nina Armitage to D. O. A. Knight.
