SAVAGE WINS ONE-SIDED CONTEST
(FSEBS ASSOCIATION TNLNOEAH.) WELLINGTON, July 4. Saturday night's wrestling bout between Steve Savage and the Hungarian, LoU Szabo. was a short affair. Savage took an easy fall with a body press in the third round, and in the fourth Saabo. a strapping but apparently inexperienced Hungarian, threw himself right out of the ring in an erratic torpedo tackle and knocked himself unconscious. The bout, which lasted less than half an hour, was wholly one-sided.
FELICE UNABLE TO CONTINUE
(PEXSB ASSOCUTIOH TXLSOaiK.) AUCKLAND, July 4. Unable to continue after being slammed in the sixth round, Tony Felice lost the decision to George Walker in a professional wrestling contest on Saturday night. Felice had previously secured a submission fall in the third round when he trapped Walker with a figure four scissors on the arm and a wristlock. The bout attracted a fairly big attendance.
M'CREADY-SPELLMAN BOUT
Next Wednesday McCready will be making his one hundred and fifth appearance in New Zealand. He is matched with the fast and scientific wrestler, Spellman, who has already proved himself in Christchurch. The bookings for this match are a record for the season.
