HEAT WAVE IN CANADA
WINNIPEG, July 2. The heat wave continues to take toll of crops, which are threatened in Manitoba and South Saskatchewan. Rain is needed everywhere. Fred Hailes. a prominent grower, was found dead in ruined fields with a gun by his side.
