Members of the Waiau Croquet Club arranged a social afternoon at the home of Mrs H. Rogers, the secretary of the club, to bid farewell to one of their members, Mrs W. Williams, who is leaving the district. Mrs F. Forbes, in presenting a leather shopping bag to the guest, thanked her
for her many kindnesses to the club and wished her every happiness in her new home at Coalgate.
