One of the sharpest frosts this year. 12.5 degrees, was recorded at the Ashburton Domain weather station yesterday morning. There had been two heavier frosts of 13 and 14.5 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. The weather aftsr the frcst was fine and sunny, although the temperature was not particularly warm. There was a light northerly wind.
