MAYFIELD GIRLS' FRIENDLY SOCIETY

The fortnightly meeting of the Mayfield branch of the Girls' Friendly Society was held in St. Mary's Church, with Miss P. Duff presiding. Arrangements were made for the dance to be held next week in aid of funds for the branch. Miss Emma Goldsmith gave a demonstration on smocking. In a social half-hour a competition was won by Miss Gladys SewelL The hostesses were Misses Nellie Goldsmith and Ruth Harrison.
