The sittings of the committee, which are not open to the public, will continue until Mr Thorn leaves temporarily on Thursday, when other members of the committee will inspect firms* books, accounts, costs, freezingplants, and premises. Upon Mr Thorn's return, the committee will continue its work with sittings at Lyttelton on Saturday, May 15; at Akaroa on Monday, May 17; and at Lake Ellesmere on Wednesday, May 19.
