WELLINGTON FIGURES

(PSESS ASSOCIATION TELEGBAJI.) WELLINGTON, April 30. Figures received from the Registrar of Births, Deaths, and Marriages at Wellington show that for the period ending April 30. from the beginning of the year, there has been a general increase in all the totals. Births for April this year are greater by 65 than the total for 1936, which was 120. There were four fewer deaths for April this year than last year, and marriages for April, 1937, were 140 as against 173 for the corresponding month last year. Totals for April are:— 1937. 1936.
