THE POPE GIVEN TREATMENT
RESTORING CIRCULATION
VATICAN CITY, January 27
The Pope underwent short-wave electrical treatment to counter defective circulation in his hands and shoulders. The apparatus consisted of a box containing an electric motor and bulbs made of gold quartz. It is stated that the Pope's circulation was restored.
