ATTEMPT TO OBTAIN MONEY FROM CLARK GABLE

LOS ANGELES, January 27,
Mrs Violet Norton, aged 47, a Canadian, who was charged with attempting to obtain money from Clark Gable, the film actor, by alleging that he was the father of her 13-year-old daughter, was indicted on charges of conspiracy and using the mails to defraud two private detectives, one a Canadian.
