STANLEY McKAY'S "GAIETIES"
NEW REVUE TO-NIGHT
To-night at St. James' Theatre Stanley McKay's "Gaieties" Vaudeville Company is to be seen in its fourth revue. "One Glamorous Night," which is said to be even funnier than its predecessors. The favourite comedian, Joe Lawman, has much to do in the new show, his sketches including "The Gangsters," "Joe's Bet," "The Family Picture Frame," and "The Grand Hotel." In each of these he has the star comedy role, his assistants being Stella Lam'ond, Elton Black, Geo. Corelli. and Kath. Howard. One of the novelties in the new programme is "Camp Fire Melodies" by the Sundowners, led by Elton Black. Another item of outstanding merit is an Hawaiian scena arranged by the popular Hilo Duo. The talented Personality Girl, Stella Lamond. who is such a great favourite with St. James' audiences, is to be heard in new character studies, grave and gay. and Elvy Ferguson, the dainty violinists, is to feature several charming numbers. Song scenas. "Roses of Picardy" and "In a Monastery Garden," with Kath Howard in the leading role, should make a big apnea] to music lovers. The large cast includes the Yodelling Newtons. Cy Pier, Nellie Sheridan. Warren Bros. Those clever tap-dancers, June and Nola Lawrence, will make their first appearance with the company to-night. A matinee will be given on Saturday at 2.30 p.m.
