REGENT DOCKYARD DISMISSALS

INVESTIGATION SOUGHT BY UNION ■ (Received January 17, 9.5 p,m.) LONDON, January 16. The secretary of the Transport and General Workers’ Union has written to the Prime Minister (Mr Stanley Baldwin) about the dismissal of H. Love joy, one of the workers, sacked from the Devonport dockyard, saying that no charge was made against him, and no indication given why he was dismissed. The executive asks Mr Baldwin to create an impartial tribunal to investigate the facts.
