fe The New Brighton Volunteer Fire Brigade answered a call at 11.47 yeswraay morning to a fire in a brush «nce separating the Pleasant Point domain and.the line of houses which «ce Estuary road. When the brigade arrived about a chain of the fence had Men burned, but the lire was easily "anguished. An easterly wind was Wowing the blaze away from the nouses, and as the pine needles in the V~ , y were thin no other damage *as done.
