DUTCH AIR LINE TO AUSTRALIA
CONSIDERATION BY FEDERAL CABINET MELBOURNE, January 15. One of .the most important subjects raised at a meeting of the Federal Cabinet was the request by a Dutch company for the right to extend its air service from Batavia to Australia. Because of the importance of the problem raised by the Dutch company's; request, the. Cabinet decided to communicate with the British Government. : Although no official statement has ■ *been made, it is believed that the t request of the company may lead to t an early agreement on the Empire . air mail plan.
