REWARD FOR CAPTURE OF KIDNAPPER
MR ROOSEVELT PROMISES ALL MEANS WILL BE USEJD
(Received January 13, 10.45 p.m.) WASHINGTON, January 12. Mr Roosevelt, declaring that the murder of Dr. Mattson’s son had shocked the nation, said: “Every means at our command must be enlisted to capture and punish the perpetrator of this ghastly crime.” Mr H. S. Cummings, AttorneyGeneral, announced a Government reward of 10,000 dollars for the capture of the murderer.
