BROADCASTING OF RECORDS

TO THE EDITOB 01 THB PRESS. Sir, —On the subject of broadcasting, may I offer a suggestion to the many already given. Would it be possible for the records to be played to correct time? This fault is particularly noticeable during the dance programme, but is also noticeable at other times. To-day I was listeningin, and I heard Jeanette Mac Donald singing two numbers. Through the records being played too fast, the beauty of her voice and also' of the song was entirely lost. If this fault were corrected, I am sure listening-in would be very much more pleasant.— Yours, etc., .T.O. January 8, 1937.
