(Received January lX 12.15 a.m.)
TACOMA (Washington), Jan. 11. The police, in hunting for the kidnapper of the son of Dr. Mattson, discovered a shack on a lonely island in Puget Sound, which had apparently been abandoned only an hour before their arrival. A motorlaunch wag found in the same cove as that in which a fisherman reported sighting two men and a small boy several days ago.
