ZEPPELINS FOR AMERICA

GERiMAN ASSISTANCE (Received January 11, 12.30 a.m.) * NEW YORK, January 10. Herr Hugo Eckener, the Zeppelin commander, said on his arrival in New York that the plans of the Hindenburg's sister ship, L.Z. 130, will be made available to the builders of the proposed American airships. He said that he would be glad to give personal assistance to the American engineers and train American officers and crews next summer on the Hindenburg and the Graf Zeppelin. Herr Eckener envisages a Ger-man-American service, comprising two German and two American airships. He considers that only dirigibles will be regularly engaged in transporting passengers across the North Atlantic.
