* MAN AND WIFE INJURED CAR ROLLS OVER BANK NEAR DOMETT Two residents of Christchurch, Mr and Mrs F. M. Borrell, of 34 Edward avenue, St. Albans, were injured late yesterday afternoon when their car went over a bank near Tormore, on the Main North road. Both were admitted to hospital last evening, Mrs Borrell suffering from a fracture of the skull and scalp wounds, and Mr Borrell from a fracture of the left arm. Neither was in a serious condition. With their small child, aged about three, they had been to Gore Bay for the day, and were returning when the accident occurred. Just after passing another car at the last Greta cutting on the Christchurch side of Domett, their car left the road and rolled over a high steep bank. Medical assistance was summoned from Cheviot and they were later taken to Christchurch in a St. John ambulance. The child did not appear to have been hurt. WOMAN SERIOUSLY INJURED CAR FALLS INTO GULLY (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) BLENHEIM, December 28. OAMARU, December 28. Mrs Horner, aged 80, of Hampden, was knocked down by a car on the main road about 11 o'clock last evening. She suffered a broken leg, and was admitted to the Oamaru Hospital. Her condition is reported to be serious. GIRL SERIOUSLY INJURED IN FALL FROM CAR (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND. December 23. Dorothy Roberts, aged 19, of Te Hoe, Morrinsville, is in the Auckland Hospital in a serious condition as the result of a fall from a car on Saturday afternoon when the door of the car opened, near Drury.
