SCARLET FEVER OUTBREAK

* SEVERAL CASES IN ONE DISTRICT A mild outbreak of scarlet fever is indicated in the 'notifications of infectious diseases to the Department of Health during the week ended at noon yesterday. Six of the cases were notified from one area and the others were scattered throughout the health district. The Medical Officer of Health (Dr, T. Fletcher Telford) said that all the necessary precautions had been taken.
