INCREASE IN CREDIT IN LAST YEAR (ITIESS ASSOCIATION III.EOIUM.I DUNEDIN, November 30. Satisfaction with the position of the Post Office Saving? Bank was expressed by the Postmaster-General < the Hon. F. Jones), in an interview to-day. The Minister said that for the year ended on October 31 last the surplus of deposits over withdrawals amounted to £2,420,000. As £1,406,000 was added to the bank’s account last March as interest on the deposits then held in the bank, it would be seen that the total at credit had increased during the year by £3,826,000.
