SURF CLUB’S DANCE
♦ The popularity of the summer dances organised by the social committee of the North Beach Surf Club was again demonstrated by the large attendance at the opening of the season's dance held in the North Beach Hall on Saturday evening. The hall, which has been entirely renovated, was gaily decorated for the occasion. The music was played by Percy Butler and his orchestra, and extras by Mr Trevor Lowry. Mr L. R. Moore was master of ceremonies. Those present included Mesdames E. W. Gillard. T. Joseph, R. McDougall, L. R. Moore, Misses Jean Parker, Beatrice McDowell. Elvira Stephens.
