NEW YORK-PARIS AIR RACE

FRANCE TO ENTER FAST MACHINES PARIS, November 13. The Air Minister (M. Pierre Col) has ordered the construction of three official aeroplanes -for the New York-Paris air race in 1937. Two machines will have a maximum speed of 220 to 230 miles an hour, and the third a maximum of 280 miles an hour. Probably three other French aeroplanes will also compete.
