COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS V. R.S.A.
During the week-end the annual golf match between teams representing the Canterbury Commercial Travellers’ and Warehousemen’s Association and the Christchurch Returned Soldiers’ Association, was played at Templeton. The following are the results of the games, the commercial travellers’ names appearing first;—
Four-ball—P. Anderson and L. Taylor beat P. H. N. Freeth and O. H. Burns, L. Wynyard and L. S. Ayers beat T. S. Knight and J. Bruges, H. Spanjer and H. Throp beat J. McClymont and T. Condliffe, L. Hubble and R. King beat T. Halliburton and F. Pender, Geo. Christie and W. Owen lost to F. Barritt and Geo. Hoffman, T. Patterson and A. W. Spence halved with J. D. Hutchison and R. V. White, W. McClure and L. Myhre lost to J. L. Findlay and S. J. Russell.
