ATHLETE DREAMS OP BURGLARS

LEAP THROUGH WINDOW

LOS ANGELES, November 12. Phil Cope, co-holder of the world s high hurdles record, leaped through a window, severely cutting his feet and hands. The wounds required 40 stitches, but it is not thought that Cope’s injuries will curtail his track career.

Cope was dreaming of burglars and he cleared the window sill from his bed. “Thank goodness it was not the second storey.” said his wife.
