SUCCESS OF ROYAL
SHOW
APPRECIATION FROM PRESIDENT OF ROYAL SOCIETY
Appreciation of the work done by the committee and members of the Canterbury Agricultural and Association was expressed by the p c sident of the Royal Agricultural Society. Mr L. J. Wild, of Feilding, the close of the Royal Show at Addington yesterday. The tremendous amount of Work that they had done, said Mr Wild, had contributed materially to making the show the outstanding success that it had been. It was the best show that had been held in New Zealand, not only because of the number of entries, but because of the even balance in the entries, the variety of classes of livestock, and the uniformly high standard of quality. It was safe to say of the sheep section that it was an exhibition that had never been surpassed in the world. Apart from the livestock, Mr Wild concluded, the exhibition of machinery was outstanding. It was a wonderful attraction, not only to the fanner, but to the public generally.
