JAMES’ THEATRE Margaret Sullavan in “The Moon’s Our Home” will be shown finally this afternoon and to-night at the St. James’ Theatre, Ashburton. Apparently Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer spared no expense to bring Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, and Jean Harlow together to form the perfect triangle, in its brilliant filmisation of Faith Baldwin’s best-seller novel, “Wife Versus Secretary,” coming to the St. James’ Theatre to-morrow and Monday. The picture has a beautiful setting, with smart dialogue. The supporting cast in every way measures up to the high standards set by the picture’s trio of stars. Excellent performances are given by May Robson Hobart Cavanaugh. James Stewart, and George Barbier.
