♦ # AUXILIARY CRUISER STILL MISSING (Received November 12, 12.5 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 11. The destroyer Vendetta to-day began a search for the auxiliary cruiser Viking, which is overdue at Lord Howe Island from Sydney. A large yacht, ti.e Wanderer, which is owned by Mr Norman Wallis, of Sydney, also left for the same purpose. Mr Wallis, who is a friend of Mr Gower C. Wilson, owner of the Viking, has five companions and provisions for 10 days. The French steamer Cape Tarifa, en route to Noumea from Port Kembla, is diverting from its course with the object of searching for the Viking. '
