L ♦ I BODY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE 5 INSTRUCTORS Eleven teachers of physical culture r have formed in Christchurch a Can-' j terbury Association of Physical Train- [ ing. This body is a branch of a movement which is being fostered also in
other centres. Membership is open to physical culture instructors, with the intention of encouraging physical education. The formation of a national council is the aim of all the branches of it. At a recent meeting of the Christchurch branch the following officers were elected: —President, Mr W. Sarelius; vice-president. Miss Booth: secretary and treasurer, Mr G. Harkness; executive, the officers, Misses King and Forsyth, and Mes&s G. Webb and C Buckett.
