UNEXPECTED BEQUEST OF £200,000
BREWER’S WIDOW LEAVES MONEY TO CHURCH BODIES

LONDON. October 7
The sum of £200,000 has been bequeathed between the Salvation Army and the Church Army by Mrs Annie Smith, oi Kensington, aged 90, a widow of a millionaire brewer and distiller. Both organisations were taken by surprise, and neither is able to trace any association with Mrs Smith in their work.
