TO THE EDITOR OF THE I’REH.S. Sir,—Would you kindly inform me through the medium of “The Press” what are the wages to be paid to teamsters and rouseabouts on the agricultural farms? —Yours, etc.. TEAMSTER. Springfield, October 5. 1936. [The Agricultural Workers Act, 1833, applies to workers employed on dairy farms only. The wages to be paid under the act to all workers on such farms are: Under 17 years, 17s 6d a week; 17-18 years, 22s 6d; and yearly increases of 5s a week until the wages lor an employee of 21 years or over are 42s 6d a week. Where board and lodging are not provided, 17s 6d a week is to be added to these wages.]
