FEAR OF INTERNAL STRIFE
PRECAUTIONS IN FRANCE PARIS, October 2. Fears of a renewal of internal strife are disclosed in an announcement that the Government has ordered an investigation into the activities of the Social party, which Colonel de la Roque created, after the dissolution of the Croix de Feu. Colonel de la Roque’s propaganda in North Africa is specially resented by communists and socialists. The Government has also banned the Social party’s demonstration and the communists’ counter demonstration arranged for to-night and has forbidden M. Degrelle, leader of the Belgian Rexists, to lecture.
