AIRMEN MISSING

SEARCH IN WESTERN v AUSTRALIA PERTH, October 2. An extensive aerial search yesterday of the country near failed to reveal any sign of W. Rous and H. van Beekman, two Dutch airmen, who have been missing since Wednesday morning. A land party has left Kaigoorlie to investigate the theory that their aeroplane crashed where a fire was seen 60 miles from Kaigoorlie, and that the machine, and the missing men, were burned. The Dutchmen were making a holiday flight round Australia.
