THE GOLDEN GULLY COMPANY

COURT MAKES NO ORDER FOR INSPECTION COMMITTEE

No order was made for the appointment of a committee of inspection in the affairs of the Golden Gully Sluicr ing and Development Company, Ltd. (in liquidation), when the matter was referred to the Supreme Court yesterday morning before Mr Justice NorthCI Mr A. W. Brown, appearing for the official assignee, said that a meeting of creditors had decided to make no application. A meeting of contributories had decided to refer the matter to the court, and recommended Mr Hector Chilo Milne as their representative on the committee that might be appointed. In reply to his Honour, he said that it made no difference to the official assignee whether an order was made, as he could avail himself of Mr Milne’s help in any case.
